
The Best Exercises For Weight Loss
Before we get into the best exercise to lose belly fat, know that everyone is different. Every body is unique, and everyone’s metabolism functions differently. The best way to target fat loss is to incorporate different varieties of workouts. Instead of focusing on just one of these, try rotating them each time you workout, or every week and see what you like best.
1. Heavy Lifting
If I had a dollar for every time a woman said she didn’t want to lift because she didn’t want to get bulky, I’d be a billionaire! Ladies, I PROMISE you will not get bulky from lifting heavy weights a few times per week. Professional weight lifters have to work very hard to bulk, it’s not that easy. Lifting heavy helps our muscles work to exhaustion. This is firing up more muscle fibers, and recruiting more energy to make it happen. The result? More fat is burned in the process.
2. Pilates
Pilates is one of my favorite weight loss exercises at home. The movements are low intensity, and it can be done almost anywhere! Pilates works to lengthen the muscles, which help you get leaner, and even elongate your muscles, making you look taller and slimmer. My favorite way to add onto pilates workouts is adding my SkinnyFit workout band. They make it more challenging, and help you burn more calories.
